Whether this is your first time at a theater summer camp or you’re returning for another awesome summer with us, our camps have something for everyone. During these 2-week sessions, campers study Shakespeare’s theater in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Professional theater practitioners lead interactive classes in Shakespeare’s poetry, clowning traditions, and stage combat. The camp culminates in an abridged Shakespeare play for family and friends on the final day.

Camp sessions are weekdays from 9am to 3pm, and a typical camp day begins with a half hour of warmups followed by breaking up into smaller groups to rotate between three one-hour classes with a half-hour lunch break.  The afternoon concludes with a two-hour rehearsal for the final performance.  Aftercare is NO LONGER AVAILABLE at the San Francisco campsite.
